Workshop: Combining EEG and fNIRS: From Theory to Practice
This workshop, jointly hosted by NIRx and Artinis, will give participants the opportunity to learn how EEG and fNIRS can be combined across different device configurations. It will include a brief introduction to the key concepts of EEG and fNIRS, discussions of applicationsand use cases, practical considerationsfor setting up combined recordings, and an introduction to joint data analysis approaches. The program will also feature live demonstrations and hands-on experience with both mobile and stationary setups. If you are curious about combining these two modalities and the advantages this may bring to your research, we would be delighted to welcome you to this workshop!
We are pleased to be joined by Dr. Katharina Lingelbach and Anna Vorreuther from the Fraunhofer IAO and University of Stuttgart, who will share their expertise on the topic.
Please note:
The workshop will run from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Psychological Institute, Hauptstraße 47-51 in Heidelberg. Participants may arrive from 08:30 AM onward. There will be two coffee breaks and one lunch break, and small snacks will be provided.
